Fall 2009
Appropriately, the last day of October 2009 was a windy one in Natick, but a good day to do some end-of-season yard work. My part was raking and later shoveling the acorns out of our side yard prior to mowing, so we wouldn't end up mchine-gunning the house with acorns. It isn't clear why we have enough acorns this year to build a shovelable mound; my favorite theory is that the coyote have eaten all our local squirrels.
